A Letter to Readers

Dear Reader,

I want to personally welcome you to Buen Día Honduras. This project, which is 100% made in Honduras, has been in production since 2013 and is launching today, however it has been present in the minds of its creators for many years. It is the fruit of the labor of citizens who are convinced that the media can be and are a valuable tool to forge social change.

Our purpose is to support, promote and inspire. Who, you ask? You: those who knew a different Honduras several years back, those who remember neighborhoods and barrios with a longing, those who demand for a different, a better Honduras. And you, who chose to move to a different country in order to reach your dreams but who does not forget your beloved Honduras.

We want to promote our country, its people, its products, its flora and fauna and everything Honduras has to offer. Honduras is a country rich in culture, rich in tradition, with hard-working, capable people. We want that to be the face of Honduras that people know within our borders and abroad.

I encourage you to explore the site. Read our mission and vision. Find out how you can help. Help us to grow and to multiply our efforts; share the name of the project with your friends and family so that everyone knows it exists. Look for us on the various social networking sites. Make suggestions!

And finally, have a Good Day, Honduras!
